Public Participation Task Force

At DVRPC, public participation is a vital and meaningful part of transportation planning; without resident feedback, review, and buy-in, projects have difficulty meeting the needs of the community and making a positive, sustainable impact. In honor of our commitment to working with communities across the Philadelphia region, DVRPC has maintained the Public Participation Task Force (PPTF), a continuous forum for the public to participate in the regional planning process.

The mission of the Public Participation Task Force is to provide ongoing access to the regional planning and decision-making process, to review timely issues, to serve as a conduit for DVRPC information to organizations and communities across the region, to assist the Commission in implementing public outreach strategies, and empower citizens to get involved in regional planning. The forum provides ongoing access to the regional planning and decision-making process, reviews timely issues, distributes DVRPC information to organizations and communities across the region, assists the Commission in implementing public outreach strategies, and empowers citizens to get involved in regional planning.

Learn more about the Task Force on the PPTF webpage and keep up to date on important announcements from DVRPC by registering for DVRPC’s “Public Participation and Public Notices'' emails.
